Estride™ Harmony Estride harmony is a pressure sensing mat specifically designed to measure the pressure exerted by saddle and rider on horses’ back. It can be used to check saddle fit or analyse riding technique. The system can detect any pressure from rider, saddle, or saddle pad and its impacts on the horse.
Check Saddle Fit – Know what is happening under the saddle. Tiny sensors covering the entire mat placed under the saddle help identify inconsistencies in saddle fitting and assist you in choosing the correct saddle or fit for your horse. Dial in flocking and tree adjustments, pad useage, billet placement etc!
Real-Time Record Mode – Real-time record mode allows data to be captured with the horse is ridden, this can be used to analyze the saddle fit and rider balance at all three gaits and over fences!
Instant Mode – Allows you to wirelessly view the pressure map on your mobile or tablet. This is used for static analysis, or how the saddle fits stationary. Used to check tree width/angle/fit as well as panel distribution.
Multi point automated saddle check – Automatic checks for Pressure on Spint, Left vs Right Pressure, Front vs Back pressure and Overall Pressure Distribution
920 sensors – Harmony’s matrix of 920 pressure points give you accurate distribution of force of the saddle on horses’ back.
HORSE EVALUATION
Each Saddle Fit Evaluation begins with a thorough analysis of your horses back shape, conformation and function. This includes chalk drawings on your horse to see exactly his unique shape; that guides where and how the saddle is fit to allow your horse the greatest comfort and freedom. Along with a host of measuring tools, we also use a 3-D Arc Device to record the shape of your horses back; this allows us to track the changes of your horses back thru time.
STATIC SADDLE EVALUATION
We then look at the current saddle you are using, evaluating how your horses back and your saddle interact. Recommendations or adjustments are made; each change is re-evaluated to make sure that the improvements are the best possible.
DEMO RIDE
If you’re interested in trying a saddle, we custom fit the saddle to your horse, ensuring the best possible experience for both of you! Try as many saddles out of our inventory as you’d like, or bring saddles from the tack store for me to evaluate and fit. The best way to check equipment is to take it for a spin!

As an Independent MSFC Saddle Fitter, we can work on and fit any brand of English saddle. From tree adjustments or spot flocking to a total reflock, we make sure we leave your barn with the best fit possible.

Evaluation Appointment: includes thorough physical/confirmation exam of Horse as it pertains to saddle fit and function, as well as detailed evaluation of up to 2 saddles for fit and suitability, and suggestions for adjustments (flocking/shimming/billet changes etc).
